Clifford J. Appel, MD

Dr. Clifford Appel is a gastroenterologist who is board certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology. He treats patients ages 18 and older. He is dedicated to providing a strong patient/physician relationship and understands the importance of communication catered to each individual's needs. He has an extensive level of experience of more than 35 years in diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions. He also has performed thousands of upper and lower endoscopic procedures during his career. He was raised in central Connecticut. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and exercise-related pursuits including multiple outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and golfing.
